I just wanted to give a very big Thank you to Dr Melissa Kozaruk. Yesterday Melissa performed a full 5/5 boas surgery on mine and my partners best friend Freddie. I never noticed any symptoms, regarding boas whilst he was growing mainly for the fact I was uneducated and was unaware what to look for, I thought snoring was normal, I thought that his panting was normal, I thought that his reflux with that being ever so often was normal.

I couldn’t recommend Melissa enough, she was very prompt with booking Freddie in a.s.a.p. Freddie was discharged same day he received the best care, a detailed time table for his medication and lots of instructions of after care!

We have noticed already his breathing is noticeably clearer !!! He is still happy and giving me lots of kisses and cuddles as usual which is amazing. All the benefits and risks were all mentioned prior to surgery and I had the chance to ask as many questions as I needed. I am just so grateful and I know Freddie will be grateful to !

We are so excited for him to heal. I couldn’t believe the before photos as opposed to after. It is amazing what experienced vets are capable of!
